I try to take pictures, and share at work, with friends, or even here. Most of the time, it doesn&#8217;t get the enthusiasm that I feel stargazing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is this desire to share, and see what more experienced astronomers are doing that has made me interested in joining the <a href=\"http:\/\/mvas.org\/mvas_wp\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/mvas.org\/mvas_wp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miami Valley Astronomical Society<\/a>. I finally took the time to join, and found a group of people that share my enthusiasm, and often even exceed it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the benefits of being a member of MVAS is the use of the observatory at John Bryan State Park. Liz and I recently went to a star party here. We brought just the binoculars, as I am not quite ready for remote imaging, but there were many beautiful telescopes all around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Needless to say, I had a lot of fun, and if not for the cold, Liz would have enjoyed it as well.
